Regarding the additional sales force: "New York, April 6 (Bloomberg) -- Aspect Development Inc. said several large contracts were delayed, not canceled, because the company wasn't prepared for the longer, more complex internal approval cycles of the contracts valued from $5 million to $10 million, Chief Executive Romesh Wadhwani told financial news network CNBC. The lesson Aspect learned from this is that it needs a larger and more balanced sales pipeline, and the company has budgeted to double its sales force this year, said Wadhwani. Once the company implements its plans to accelerate staffing of its sales organization, Aspect will be ''back to or close to'' its original growth-rate and operating-profit plans, Wadhwani told CNBC."
