RTev, So, clearly enough, Linux is a server platform with limited software platforms, but growing. It is very appropriate for web servers and potentially workgroup RDBMS platforms. This is a threat to SUNW, HWP, SGI, but not such a threat to NT. NT is still the most robust application platform, for now.
