I know that this is stating the obvious, but the easiest thing would be to get the stock price of that stock for the previous 12 months (you asked for the standard deviation over a year), cut and paste it into a spreadsheet, and let it calculate the stuff for you. BTW, do you know of a Web site that has free historic stock prices? Going back about a decade? Thanks.
