"The cutbacks in 16 MEG production by DRAM manufacturers is causing OEM's to
rely on the open market to supply product for on-going production. The
independent distribution channel is flush with requirements covering a wide
range of configurations. The 64 MEG DRAM market is stable with a price
increase on 8MX8 SYNCH 4 BANKS 3V PC-100 TSOP to note."According to AICE

Price levels on Pentium II 350 MHz and faster and Pentium III products are
weaker as demand is flat. Two things are determining pricing at this point:
Some OEM's have taken deliveries with the new price schedule while others,
who will not get the new price until the official April 11 date, are
holding off purchases. Celeron product is not expected to participate in
this restructuring. The DRAM market trends remain intact in today's
trading.

64 MEG DRAM supply is putting downward pressure on price levels, especially
in the 8MX8 configuration. Conversely, lack of supply is pushing price
levels up on the 1MX16 DRAM in all modes. The Intel CPU market is stable,
however, there is talk that Intel may pull-in a scheduled price
restructuring.

Due to the holidays, trading is generally light. An item to note in the
DRAM market is the continued softening of 64 MEG SYNCH mode PC-100 product
pricing in the 4MX16 and 8MX8 configurations. Consequently, prices are
lower on 8MX64 and 16MX64 SYNCH PC-100 modules. Intel CPU trading is
stable.
