I'm not sure that it would have a noticeable effect on the DRAM makers. i.e. - PCs will still be ordered with whatever memory works.

So I wouldn't see a direct affect on most equipment makers.

As I understand it, testing RDRAM chips might be beyond the capability of the existing base of test equipment. I further believe that TER is the leading supplier of testers that are adequate fro RDRAM.

So a significant delay in RDRAM might cause some slippage in TER's bookings.

But that's just a WAG.
