The most interesting part of the news release was the reference to opportunities in the automotive market. If one of the automotive companies took note of Global's performance in the SOFC area and partnered with them, the results could be astronomical.

I get the impression that Ballard's developments in this area put them at the head of the pack but only for the time being.

I believe that the real strength and growth in Global would occur with mass market products such as residential power generation and automotive use. The Army heaters and remote power generation will remain a mainstay of the company but these areas are already dominated by Global.

$1.35 Global shares will look like 1985 Microsoft shares if they steer toward mass market products.
