NR, today, in short SCP will pursue other interests to enhance shareholder value. Now this sounds like what ONV is doing as well. SO look out when the announcement is made. ONV when from .25 to $1.50 without a mention of anything solid.

Scorpion Minerals Inc.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--Mr. Laurie E. Whitehouse, President of Scorpion
Minerals Inc. ("Scorpion") (TSE-SCP) and head of Scorpion's
Indonesian operations has resigned today as President and Director
of the Company to pursue other interests. Mr. Michael A.
Farrugia, Chairman of the Board, will assume the title of Acting
President of the Company.

The completion of the recently announced Sampanahan joint venture
with Aurora Gold Ltd. allows Scorpion to wind up its remaining
Indonesian operations.

Scorpion is continuing to pursue potential acquisition
opportunities with a view to increasing shareholder value.

Scorpion currently has 21,589,238 shares outstanding, cash of
approximately $8.5 million and also owns 4,000,000 shares of
MacMillan Gold Corp. (TSE-MMG) and 1,000,000 shares of LatinGold
Inc. (TSE-LAT).
