Instead, the company plans to release a new version based on the Windows 95/98 operating system, Microsoft president Steve Ballmer said Wednesday in a speech at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference and Exhibition in Los Angeles. I guess Microsoft forgot to tell Dell in time for the meeting.
