Ian. +++++++++++++++ April 8, 1999 Dow Jones Newswires Siemens Unit In Vendor Financing Pact With Omnipoint Dow Jones Newswires BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Siemens AG's (G.SIE) Information and Communication Networks unit signed a $200 million long-term vendor financing contract with Omnipoint Corp. (OMPT). ss release Thursday, Siemens said under the contract it will provide equipment and services for Omnipoint's wireless telephone network for the next several years. The contract completes a letter of intent signed in December.
