I'm going to take an offbeat stance here and remind you all that in fact the current subscriber numbers that we focus so hard on have very little to do with the long term success of @home, and current earnings mean far less still. Subscriber numbers today measure the cable co's ability to hire installers, not the future popularity of the service. What really counts now? Maybe total homes passed, more I'd like to see how @home and DSL service compete in the same space. And the really big unknown that is truely the future of @home? advertising revenues! Eric
