BomBoochaBoy, good question nobody seems interested in tackling...

In broad terms, inflation is more likely to affect certain countries sooner than others. The USA, for example may see a resurgence of mild inflation soon as the labor situation keeps on tightening. However, the real question should be when, not if, the interest rates will tighten, since this will be likely to alleviate the labor shortage and put a damper on growth.

I don't see inflation being a major factor affecting the Asian economies in the medium term. These countries just went trough a bout of belt tightening to get over their most recent crisis and they should be fighting fit in tomorrow's economy. Sounds like another plus for our basket of stocks, doesn't it?
