i'm concerned about lou tomasetta's statement on the conference call that, because Lucent will be outsourcing some of their manufacturing to contract manufacturers, that vtss's sales to Lucent will fall. he reassures us that sales will be instead to those contract manufacturers, and that sales of vtss components destined for Lucent products may even rise. but it will look like Lucent's 20% share of vtss's total sales are falling. trouble is, i don't know whether vtss's relationships with those contract mfctrers is as strong as what they've had with LU, or whether LU cares enough about vtss's products to direct the contract manfctrs (who are they?) to buy from our guys. LU is their largest customer, Schlumberger 2nd with 10% and he didn't say who are the rest. who would the contractors buy from if they decided to reduce dependence on vtss
