Joe,

I just got in from work. I spent one of the most beautiful days I have seen in years digging trees. I have a field of trees at about 8,000 feet elevation above Basalt, Co. close to Ruedi Reservoir 15 miles from Aspen.

I drove up valley this morning after making my post. I was about an hour late because of the time I took goofing with the fake PR. When I left the house we had a full blown blizzard coming from the west. I started up the Frying Pan River Canyon and about a mile up against a cliff along the road were a herd of 17 Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. In the herd were three rams. Two were young, maybe 2 years old but the Alpha male was a majestic ram about 8 years old with a full turn and a half curled horns. He stood gaurd over the ewes and looked at me as I passed in my truck like he would tear my door off if I even slowed down.

I rounded the next bend and standing in the river was a Great Blue Heron with a fifteen inch trout hanging out of each side of its long beak. As the truck passed he spread his full five foot wing span and glided fish firmly held along the top of the river.

I made it to the field and went into the trees to line out the crew for the days work and out bounded a large buck mule deer and five does. They cleared the fence and headed up to the hill above.

At noon I stopped to have a spot of tea and over my head came a flock of Canadian Geese. They were taking the short hop over the top of the mesa from river side to river side and over my head.

As I was leaving the field this evening after snow this morning, rain just after noon, bright sunshine and 60 degrees then a full wind from the West at 5:30 I heard the cow dogs barking and looked over to the other side of the ravine and a pack of five coyotes were headed up the wall of the ravine going back to their den in the hills after going to the creek to drink.

I love my job. I live 6 feet short of heaven and have God on my shoulder all day helping me. No press release can be written for a day like today. No salemen could sell this day to anyone. No factory could construct a more perfect place or time.

I must remember my place in this passion play. Today will never come again. Another feeling like I had today will never be felt again.

I also thought of something on the way back home. What and who do I trust? How and why would I change things in my life?

I think I will trust MRPS for now because I made the decision to buy the stock. I don't think I will change anything right now. They are trying it seems to do the right things. A day like today has a way of getting in and relaxing me.
