Thanks Mike for some very good comments. I would like to comment on several points which you have mentioned.

In my case, my capitol is very small due to the simple fact that I refuse to put more money in the marketplace to do online trading. I invest my retirement in other ways and play with the market as a hobby, however it has been quite an expensive hobby to say the least. :(

You say you are not very diversified in your portfolio. Does this mean you only hold one or two issues? I fully understand where you're coming from about brokerage fees which I often wonder how to solve this problem without being in just one or two positions. I suppose if you are investing in much lower risk issues it is much easier to sleep at night with owning just a few positions. I will also agree that BB's are manipulated in various ways, IMO

I have also seen the trend changing from fundamentals to whatever sounds good with no other real reason for investing except that it's moving on momentum and speculation. I do use an online broker and have been very satisfied for the most part. I always use limits and never buy or sell with a market order. This is a must in the BB arena.

You mentioned buying PCNTF for 32+, I may should be but have never bought a position with that much price. My logic has been to buy more shares at a cheaper price to obtain more appreciation. This has sometimes worked out great but I have gotten what I paid for on a lot of other issues from a quality standpoint.

Patience has been my worst enemy except for maybe greed. LOL

Thanks,
Fred
