While reading your post, I thought of the following that I read on another thread late last night:

What may be the least understood truth is that whenever a single person
finds the best that is within her or him, at that moment of discovery
the world itself is transformed, the whole world is a better place.
Finding the best, it becomes easy to give for one loses any fear of
scarcity or loss. This is because ones best is endless.>>>
