Feel free to flame me in October, 2000. Otherwise I have to wonder if you'll even be around here then when it hits that price.

I tned to go in an out of US stocks a bit (too much in many cases). But I do tend to stick around. Buying AAPL at $15 or so in 97. PPOD recently at under $3 etc. Now if I just had the confidence to hang in there on these companies people are saying are going to hell I'd be doing a lot better than I am.... Still PPOD has been my best investment and AAPL pretty good till recently.

but on the fundamentals this stock will be above $70 a share within 18 months.

According to Zacks the analysts' consensus is -10.99 eps for 99 and -6.13 in 2001. If I assume that that happens and it improves about the same the year after then slows down like this:

1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008
-10.99 -6.13 -1.27 2.54 3.56 4.26 4.84 5.31 5.67 5.94

I get roughly your earnings target using my CAPM earnings based pricing model. It says the price should be about $36 right now though :) That will be nice to double my money.
