CyberCash: Provider of secure, encrypted electronic payment services, enabling secure transactions among banks, financial institutions, transaction processors, merchants, and consumers. Products include:
CyberCash Payment Solutions: A suite of payment systems for use on the Internet.
For credit card transactions, CyberCash links the vendor to the credit card processor, providing real-time authorizations at the time of purchase.
For micropayments, the CyberCoin Service enables consumers to purchase goods online ranging in price from $.25 to $10.
For electronic check transactions, the PayNow service enables consumers' purchases to be debited directly from their checking accounts.
The Cash Register: Provides secure connections between the vendor and the financial processor. The product works with or without cyberwallets and supports scripts and programs for generating transactions.
Special versions have been developed for the Microsoft Merchant Server 1.0 and the Netscape LiveWire Development System.
CyberCash Wallet: A free software application for the PC that stores consumers' encrypted financial data used in making purchases, including credit card and bank account information.
