Great place to work for techies maybe, but I interviewed in finance/accounting awhile ago...don't remember which division, but this person couldn't find his/her (no clues! :-) ass with both hands and a compass. I had forgotten more than this person knew, and this person knew it. Then I was going to meet with this person's boss - whose office looked like a bomb shelter. Papers piled *everywhere*. Surprise surprise, this person had forgotten my meeting and was offsite. Blessing in disguise! *:o}

Later I got around to browsing their annual report/company literature. Atrocious! Is their SG&A expense line still as absurd as it was last year? The co. lit. touted how each division was being run like separate companies. That's for sure...each with a (probably overpaid) CEO-level person, judging by SG&A expense, each must have own little empire, etc. etc.

BBN at the time was well into 40s. I even toyed with breaking my own policy to only go long on stocks and buy deep out-of-the-money puts. Wish I had.

I hope BBN techies out there don't take as flame. No offense to them. My beef was with my personal experience with admin people who were as rude as they were clueless. If I ever read of an admin-specific housecleaning, I'll revisit the stock.
