According to ONTV's (Ronco's) version of the press release, they will be developing additional sites to show the infomercials:
In addition, Entertainment Boulevard will develop and host a
pop-up player to be used on any additional sites that the LA Group designates to broadcast the Ronco infomercials, and Entertainment Boulevard will also share in revenues from sales generated by these sites.

I agree that it's not for everyone, but if there are people willing to watch a half-hour infomercial on TV, they ought to be able to sit thru a 2 to 4 minute commercial on the net. Eventually, they'll have all sorts of stuff on there (golf clubs, more Ronco stuff, etc.), and possibly some exclusive items available only thru the netfomercial site. Can't really say how it will do, but it is innovative and they are the first to the market on this one, which is big. It's a lot cheaper for a new inventor or manufacturer to show it's wares on the Netfomercial site than it is buying TV time.

Not entirely sure about their marketing plan, but they have some strong marketing talent with the company and a lot of Hollywood and music industry ties, so I'm sure they have something in mind.
