If they want to invest some company money should they:

1) buyback shares
2) buyback debt
3) invest in startups

Trading at book, buying back shares does nothing in the short term except give those who are weak of heart some confidence. It does nothing to improve their business, and reduces their cash. I don't see them doing this; if they are prepared to part with the cash, they will more likely buyback more debt ... anybody know what discount the debt is selling for?

If you took a bath on millions of MRVC shares, like these boys have, would you be so quick to buy more shares personally? They have a plentiful stake, and they must be thinking that the stock market is insane.

If they succeed in fixing the business problems, then they will probably consider taking it private if the stock price doesn't respond.
