Morning John. First little cracks starting within NATO??
NATO denies France frozen out of Kosovo plans

BRUSSELS, April 9 (Reuters) - A NATO official on Friday denied reports that France had been excluded from some of the alliance's military planning on Yugoslavia due to fears information would be leaked to the Serbs.

"We deny the story. Information is shared between all the allies," the official told Reuters.

Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper on Friday quoted a senior Western military source as saying the Americans were watching the French with suspicion because of past allegations they had let slip NATO plans in the Balkan region.

"Washington has started cutting Paris out of the loop on some operations because of the worry of information being handed either to the Serbs direct or indirectly through the Russians," the high-ranking official said, according to the Telegraph.

The paper also quoted another Clinton administration official as saying "there are circles and circles within NATO".
