Nemer, Spots:

Thanks for the info and advice. I am just a little confused by the 1Mbps and 100Mbps. Is one Mbps the same as about 125,000 Bytes per second. This is as compared with a 56k modem, at 56000 Bytes per second.

So, if the goal is to share modem connection, than 1Mbps is plenty?
Until the modem connection increases speed, that is.

I know there's an error in this thinking somewhere, but I don't know where.

Peter

P.S. Spots, how did you know about the pool? Anyway, I haven't inflated it yet this year.
