If we actually get higher pc prices, it will be the first tech product in history not subject to the learning curve.

Michael, but PCs, as you've stated, are fast becoming commoditized. But with the barriers to entry being so high on the component side (CPU, DRAM, HDD), if a component supplier or two (or ten) go belly up, the end product price will be driven higher.

WDC, Japanese DRAM producers, AMD and NSM are companies that are all suspect as suppliers.
