Scumbria, I venture that AMD's own pricing practices have something to do with this. As others have posited, it does not behoove Intel to "kill off" AMD -- its most vigorous competitor. I believe Intel management recognizes this. I would like to see AMD succeed; competition is always preferable to stagnation. But I think it is likely a forlorn hope without new management at the top. John
