Great lesson about quicksand bottoms...

Here is a Peter Lynch type of approach to testing bottoms:

I recently learned first hand why CPU stock price has collapsed... I tried to buy some game software over the internet for my nephew... I did a search on Sega software and got a long list of titles... When I clicked on each title there was a message that no information was available... Not even whether the software was for PC or MAC, or Sega Controller platform... I sent an E-mail to bring this to their attention... I got an E-Mail back saying there was no additional information... Nothing stating that they would try to get an answer... The brief message had spelling errors... I called the 800 number and
spoke with customer service... They also couldn't get beyond "we have no additional information"... I reminded this person that the stock price has dropped by more than 2/3... And, it's this type of poor follow through that is hurting the company... I don't think there was anybody home when I was talking... : >

This explains the why of the price collapse... It also tells me that any technical bounce is suspect until they take care of rule number #1 offering excellent customer service... Anyone who has ordered from Amazon.com can attest to their great customer service... It isn't surprising that AMZN is testing new highs while CPU is testing new lows...
