Your right the DOR will be announced next week but the DOR can be before next week, could be today, could be when they mentioned the spin off. For instance... I had 1600 shares of MDS (now boeing) they announced a split would be shortly. Two week later they announced the split with the DOR being a day a week prior. So it did not matter it you held for years or bought the day they annouced the split, if you were not holding the stock on the split day. Same here. All I am saying is that the DOR will be sometime from when they mentioned the spin off till the EOM. Steve
