Jock, another factor that should help LSI get to $3.00 earnings in
'00 is the abatement of Y2K spending by business and government.


What LSI products do you figure will sell better when Y2K is "abated"?
Storage is selling like gangbusters right now as everyone is going nuts making more copies of everything. Copies, whether hardcopy or magnetic, end up requiring more storage. Also, as companies test for Y2K compliance, they buy or lease more CPUs, storage, etc., for testing and probably end up keeping it. LSI's consumer products might not be affected one way or the other.

Interesting point anyhoo.
