Will Epic be a Wild Goose for Seattle and Vancouver.....I think so. Alberta Energy Company Ltd AEC Shares issued 123,829,597 Wednesday Apr 7 1999 Mr. Ben Ledene reports Wild Goose Storage Inc., California's first independent gas storage facility, has begun injecting working gas for customers. The facility, situated in Butte County just north of Sacramento, is owned by Wild Goose, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Alberta Energy Company Ltd. The WGSI project is tied into the PG&E system where gas can be moved in and out of storage from Northern California's City Gate without paying any additional transportation tolls. The company believes that adding 14 billion cubic feet of gas storage effectively at the City Gate with many of the key players in California as customers, will significantly improve market liquidity. Improved City Gate liquidity provides more stability and options for the market, improves gas transmission efficiencies, and ultimately reduces the relative cost of natural gas to the end use markets.
