Jack,

I wanted to clarify my last post but am still considered new to SI. I am
limited to five posts every 24 hours for now and have used them. I do not
know how computer literate you are. You may be very literate. I just did not
want you to think my "finger" command has an interpretation different than
what it really is.

If one has access to account on a UNIX system, there is a command called
"finger" which permits the user to finger the e-mail address of anyone on
the net. The host system of that user will send back information regarding
that user such as if they are on-line, how long since they were last
active, what their "plan" is (a text file they store about themsleves etc.).
I now see you use Prodigy and their system is not UNIX based so you cannot
use the finger command.

Anyhow, I did not want you to think I was making a personal attack. It is
not my style. I was just trying to give you a way to confirm my identity.

By the way, good move on CSCC in error <G>. Particularly, in light of today.

PS Does anyone know the reason for the five post limit per day for the first fifty posts? This is a great board and has a lot of good information. The five post limit does make it difficult for us newbies to SI:)
