GEM you mean GEM.TSE that did a 10 bagger when they opened their internet site to sell GEMS. :-) It is not only the S3's of the world,
but all the internut stocks, Fuel Cell fads and the stock market overall that is relying on the hype machine. Earnings are lower than last year for most companies yet they are trading higher.

Crisco's days are numbered, Crisco is going to fry. Nortel is the leader, just hit a new high.

When people smell ATI's Tulip bulbs, that is when it will go up.
But does ATI have any tulip bulbs?

CL

PS
BTW after the market closed today. Compaq issued a 1Q earnings warning
$0.15 which will be below anal estimates.

This is a gem in the industry. The S3's of the world are relying on the hype machine (PR) to get people excited. Bottom line is, well.. we will see it when they report their numbers, which will be mediocre in comparison. ATI is the CISCO of the graphics card industry.

It's ensured it's continued growth by expanding it's markets - and it will execute well because it is excellently managed. Just because S3 couldn't pull it off, doesn't make it a history lesson.

ATI is undervalued. PERIOD.

It will command respect when people wake up and smell the roses.
