I don't know about a rise because that is unlike BAMMS trading history. A few spikes or one big spike followed by smaller spikes--that is what I would expect. If BAMM actually files an S-1 with the SEC, it would spike big on that news as well, especially the very high short interest. BAMM would actually rise gradually I think up to an actual spinoff a few weeks before an actual spinoff. Now remember BKS filed their S-1 with the SEC 6 or 7 months ago and they are only now doing the offering so I think any moves you see this month in sympathy with BKS will be short lived as they always have been, but you might see a higher base than $10 after the move like $12 1/2 or something. Just a humble guess. We just don't know for sure if BAMM has such plans in the works. I think they'd be foolish if they didn't. They sure could do a lot marketing and advertising wise with the capital raised in such an offering to compete better with the other online booksellers. This is a very competitive business and they might just have to do the spinoff in order to keep up with their neighbors over at AMZN and BKS. They also cannot afford to wait very long because it is today's market environment that is ripe for such a spin-off/IPO. That window might be closed in the year 2000.
