When did you hear that? I haven't heard anything like that, and an anlyst who said something like that would be borderline nuts or manipulating the stock. He might have some liabilities, even if he believed that himself. The big news after hours is about Compaq's shortfall, but this has been rumoured for at least two weeks. I suspect the box makers will have a bad Monday, and it might spill over into the entire tech sector, but as when Dell announced, we might find a lot of that money flowing into AOL.
