Doug,

Then you better be prepared to report almost every single shareholder to the TSE. Wait a minute! Their applying for Nasdaq listing is common knowledge, heck there was even a NR about it somewhere around the middle of February, can someone refresh my memory? I mean, I'm pretty sure there was something about a pending listing on the Nas... if I'm not mistaken, it also said 45-60 days, wouldn't that be, oh, NOW?

Denise.

Btw, the negative results of Compaq will have little effect on Bid.Com's price, IMHO. Compaq is hardware, as is Dell. And everybody knows Microsoft has much bigger problems.

EDIT: Here's a little interesting article, titled "Declines likely among PC stocks", and here's the opening paragraph:

Computer hardware stocks are likely to come under pressure Monday after a leading personal-computer maker warned of a first-quarter earnings shortfall.

Notice they said, hardware?

EDIT2: Also from CBS Marketwatch, in a different article:

"As long as a positive trend of earnings and sentiment continues, the technology sector will maintain leadership," said Tom Ruland, senior vice president of Guaranty Trust.
