True enough, Andy, to my knowledge that's pretty much the case with NT Workstation, NT Server, and NT "Enterprise" edition now, right? Some add on packages, of course, but my recollection is that the original NT4 server and workstation kernels were identical, you could spoof workstation into server with some simple registry changes.

And yes, it'll be slow and buggy. Coming back here after a week away, I thought the SI format had changed, I wasn't getting the message#/poster line. Rebooting NT fixed it though, it had somehow gotten the idea that that font had 0 width characters. NT may not suck as much as Win9x, but it sucks enough.
