dav: Hmmmmm, well let's see ... last Friday was only the 2nd of the month. I'm sure they knew the earnings at that point, but how to "break" the news to the long-suffering shareholders?? They probably knew the answer to that by the next day (Saturday). Of course, best to release the really bad stuff on a Friday after the close .... soooo, there it is.
