The Julian date of 09999, if your program still has only 2 digits for a year, is as overblown as the problem that was supposed to happen at the beginning of the year with programs that looked at the year 99 as an end of file or error condition.

This is another predication that is going down the drain, the doom and gloom crowd will not want to talk about another overblown hype that did not happen.

It has been over 10 years since I have seen any program use 99 or
09999 for an end of file, etc. and even then I saw it in very few programs. All of our programs that had this kind of logic were fixed last year.
