Hello, Mark - I got home and saw your post, then I saw CPQ was all over the place, from NBR to W$W. Evidently, the CFO has mentioned something 6 weeks into 1999, so I guess there ain't enough weeks in a Q to pull it off!
Tech slide seems to be a given, the question now is: are people gonna to use the excuse the herald in the correction. IMHO, there is a good chance, not that it is for the right reasons. On one of the biz news shows, someone mentioned that CPQ is a bellwether for tech. GWhiz, if one looks at the last 2 years, it doesn't show it. Random access is searching hard which brokerage house claims Altavista is worth a buck!
