Well, I think I bought this company at the high, around $17 and have held on. I did buy more at 5 and then sold my first shares for a tax loss after the proper time.

Still, I'm kicking myself also as I watched several groups including Fidelity buy large blocks last year. That probably kept me from dumping for tax loss in December.

It has seemed all along that it is hard to really gauge this company because I've never really gotten a feeling for the basic question - Does MMDS work?

Well, I have always felt that the real issue was that the FCC has prevented this technology from stealing market share from the heavy fixed assets of landline phone companies and Cable TV. I believe the FCC has wanted these companies the make the infrastructure investment and they feel the threat of a low cost wireless solution would hinder their profitability.

I think it's clear that MMDS can not serve the entire market. There will always be dead spots in the coverage or areas that are not financially worth covering. I think this causes a need for land based communications infrastructure and the FCC is protecting these companies from MMDS. I believe PCTV can "cherry pick" a large percentage of business and consumers market leaving traditional services to pick up the leftovers.

I believe the overhead of MMMDS will allow them to win on price and that new service can be established very quickly. But, I can't say that this is clear. Always in the back of my mind has been the question of whether this technology would work. Or, would LMDS be the service of choice?

It seems to me that many of these questions are being answered with the investments from Sprint and MCI. There isn't a big float on these shares and the big holders are the Oristano family who runs it. They've been adding to their holdings and it seems to me that this increased volume will surely push the stock higher.

So, is it still time to buy? I've been sitting paralyzed watching it go up and doing nothing. I'm still smarting from the fact that I bought at $17. I was very disappointed by the delays that have nearly put all these companies out of business.

Regards,

Mark
