My inclination would be to install and execute from the same boot drive..If you want to avoid the extra evening boot IMO it would be best to install to the primary NT drive.

The Catch 22 to that is I want to run backup and defrag on two physically separate drives unattended.

How do you access NT on the SCSI drive? Is it an option in the NT OS loader or do you access from the bios?

From the Bios, just like KOT and Primary NT.
