I'm getting even more pessimistic about this sector. I have noted before that late August/early September has more than once marked significant lows for the sector, both in stock prices and investor morale. You would rather slide naked down a bed of razor blades in Yankee Stadium than buy one of these stocks then, and you can't see any possible rationale why anyone would ever buy them. That has been the time to buy.

Not that I have always followed this maxim, but I have picked up some a couple of times. I'm afraid that's where I'm coming down--wait for Labor Day at this point. Of course, by then, many of us won't even be following these stocks anymore.
