On a train that is being pulled by ATHM, except, my train can't seem to catch up. Yes, that would be the XCIT train and the gap appears to be growing wider. Forebode deal in trouble?

Traditional ISPs sound a bit desperate, eh? Personal opinion is that they won't get far in getting regulators to open up the cable industry...while broadband cable is the future (for now), I don't think that AOL, MSPG, and ELNK can argue that their businesses are currently being hurt by Internet access over broadband cable. If anything, the reach of dial-up services far outstrips that of cable.

Note that it doesn't seem like AT&T/TCI will be presenting on behalf of the cable guys. Definitely don't want a former monopolistic company making our case here...
