ATI's Q was from Dec-Feb....Compaq is reporting from Jan to Mar..

So, most of Compaq's slumping PC sales would already be factored into ATI's most recently quarterly revenues just reported.

Add to that Compaq just added more ATI cards to it's lineup this quarter on several platforms, and you likely have a complete offset..
(aside from the fact the slowdown in rev's didn't indicate exactly where...servers, home PC's, etc)

And as Marc suggested - a loss by one company is gained elsewhere, as ATY has a toehold with all the leaders.

Micron is struggling, and they don't put ATI cards in their machines, so they are not really a factor are they? (BTW, I like Micron - I own one...)
