Why does ebay go up when a secondary offering is expected to hit the market?

Since you are a smart investor you should see that auction market is
so big. It's like a big ocean with no fish, and eBay is the only big fish out there. AMZN is trying to be the second fish and they are so far not too successful. The auction market will grow about 30 times as big as today's in a short 3-4 years from now.

eBay's price shoot up despite secondary offering and insider selling.
Because more and more investor have realized that eBay is not such an company, but a phenomenon that's going to wreak havoc of the entire
fix-pricing old fashioned commerce model. You think eBay is over valued with 20 billion market cap? Very wrong, eBay has not started yet, its market cap will grow to be more than 200 billion in a short 3-4 year period.

As more and more investors are pouring money into eBay to push it to be a 200 billion company, eBay's stock price has only one direction to go, UP!
