Stats show that zero population growth is a reality for the states and Canada. It is most of the rest of the world where the pop problems exist. Here in Wa state, our quality of life problems occur both in the large cities (Seattle and Tacoma: congestion, traffic, air quality, crime) and in rural areas where fertilizer, live stock, and slash forestry and then slash burning create water and air pollution.
