Hi,Arthur: re<modems> . I have a Psion Dacom goldcard 56kps in my Latitude CPi 300 , and I have found that it works very fine, when I connect from Rome, but that the connecting and download speed slows down when I connect from Monfalcone, that is a small town with phone lines non as good as they are in Rome. Speed declines further in conditions of bad weather. IMO, connecting speed is very much strongly related to quality of phone lines and noise level on the line than to the modem speed.

Best and sincere regards, L.M.Trentadue
