Dan: "Sid, correct me if I'm wrong, but you'd agree that if this cell became a mass-produced cost effective alternative to standard batteries you'd say DCHT really has something here."

I would give you a conditional yes. An extremely low cost mass produced fuel cell would be an attractive alternative to batteries in many applications. The other half of the equation is the availability and cost of hydrogen. As the Tampa explosion demonstrates, there are reasons why you may not find compressed hydrogen tanks in every convenience store.

A key factor is "mass produced cost effective". What are the financial requirements for mass production? Much, much more than DCHT has at present, although that can change. Until DCHT raises substantial amounts of cash, I don't know how it can accomplish much even in gas sensors.

Also, does DCHT have any proprietary fuel cell technology? If it does, it is certainly not clear what that might be. Thousands of people have built small fuel cells. It is just no big deal. Does DCHT have any significant patents in this technology? If not, then why should anyone who wants to finance small fuel cell production give the money to DCHT rather than a company with some edge in the area?
