Dennis, as a long term long in SUNW, I don't get too concerned about articles like the one about INTC. This is not a fait accompli and there is no evidence, yet, what impact, if any, such a "foray into SUNW country" would mean to SUNW's earnings. There has been no change in SUNW's fundamentals.

I would prefer to take a larger view of this. I believe in the future of the internet; I believe we have only scratched the surface of the internet; I believe SUNW has positioned itself well to be a major player in the evolution of the internet; and I believe SUNW is a solid company with real earnings and an aggressive, competent management. I view SUNW as a core holding. I realize that a stock like this, which has appreciated so dramatically, will face setbacks, but ultimately the fundamentals will prevail and this stock will move higher.

If you are concerned about the potential of INTC's "foray into NW country", you may want to buy INTC. INTC is another of my core holdings, and I feel much the same way about INTC as I do about SUNW.

Perhaps this philosophy is overly simplistic but it has worked for me.

Incidentally, DELL is another of my core holdings, and I feel much the same way about DELL as I do about SUNW and INTC. I recall, not too long ago, that analysts were beating up on INTC in much the same way they are now beating up on DELL. Not to worry, since DELL is also solid, and I view these aberrations as buying opportunities which, ultimately, only further enhance my position.

Good luck, Dennis.
