Nursing Home Companies as Short Candidates

The following news article brought to my attention the problems the nursing home industry is facing.

Sun Healthcare Losses Balloon

"The Albuquerque, N.M.-based company, which operated 614 long-term care facilities as of the end of 1998, posted a per-share loss of $13.34, including charges that reflect a transition to Medicare's prospective payment system, or PPS."

I am starting (late out of the gate again) to look at individual companies to see if any are still good shorts. Many are already under $5. I am looking at those few whose share prices have held up fairly well while the group as a whole has tanked. Does anyone have opinions about the players?
