Morning guys, after reading the article on the Suf thread about colored fancies, I can understand the difficulty on determining the economics of a pipe when your dealing with these type of diamonds.
It also becomes clearer why the alluvials are so important in relation to pipe economics. My god, if a pipe contained one of those red rubys, you could find nothing but one of these in 10,000 tonnes, and still be a very profitable pipe. No wonder they are so interested what turns up in the old riverbeds. IT would effect the size of the bulk samples needed to determine if a pipe is "not economic".
Does anyone have info on prices for various colored grades, if so could they post it.
