Tomas, Its hard to sleep with the sound of a drill in the distance. I enjoy the sense of discovery that comes with wildcatting, otherwise I would be lying on a beach in Hawaii, enjoying my tremendous Yahoo profits, instead of trying to figure out what loss to take to come up with my property tax payment <GG>. By my calculation, the original investment in Arakis translated to about $3.91 US per share. Taking the $15.5M write off last year into account - $37.6M original cost - $15.5M writedown = $22.1M cost for 962,480 TLM shares, or a basis of just under $23 per share - Go TLM!! If the first well in Sudan proves commercial, what's the game plan from there? Will we see any further activity in 1999, or would development plans take us into 2000? Alex
